I am a journalist based in Albany, NY. I previously interned at the Times Union, a daily newspaper serving New York's Capital Region and Hudson Valley. As a journalism student, I worked as a news editor for the Albany Student Press (ASP) and a radio reporter for the Hudson Mohawk Magazine, a radio program at The Sanctuary for Independent Media.

I studied journalism and sociology at the University at Albany and English and social sciences at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan. My reporting interests are immigration, education, social welfare and health.
